Hi My name is Pauline I am 40 and my other half is Nick he is 46. We live in Cornwall, and first visited Dalyan last September, and have fallen in love with it. We have already booked to come back again this September for 14 days. we are counting down the days, We cant wait.
We love good food, and eating out, and have tried several of the restaurants in Dalyan, favourite being Four Seasons, but this year going to try others to. any recommendations are welcome.
Wouldnt mind seeing a belly dancer to this year, so any locations please.
Want a turkish massage to, so again please recommend best.
What tour companies do folk recommend the most.
We are on not a rich couple and do have a limited budget :( so we do need to bear these things in mind.
I have lists of all restaurants we tried, and places we went, So please ask away.
xxx ;) xxx
Welcome Pauline & Nick to the forums

Hi Pauline and Nick,
You asked about Turkish Baths. The best one I have ever been to is the old bath in Dalaman. On Saturday mornings they have a women only morning, which is nice and relaxed and just plain traditional Turkish. Going to the Turkish baths with a tour company just isn't the same. If you can get a friend to go too you may enjoy it more as there won't be many foreigners there. You would have a lovely scrub and massage and relax completely. It is cheaper than the 'tour' ones as well. I hope you try it. :Yep:

Ha ha, I'd pay the price of a beer to see that. Will be there in September too. Now we've really got something to look forward too, please let us know the venue!
Restaurants we love: Ramazan Hahn always the first call and last supper! Cagri Pide, Atay Dostlar, Safran, Cehyan (spelling), BBQ Gardens, picking up a roasted chicken off the spit from the local butchers, enjoying with Feta and peppers from the market. Places on the list to try: Golbasi, Pancake House, Saki, and any other recommendations.
Julie, how would we get to Botanic from Dalyan. Many thanks.

Hi Everyone
My name is Di and my husband Dave & I have been coming to Dalyan for a number of years now. We love it obviously :Nop: I can't wait until June when we are coming next for 2 weeks. We love the restaurant called Saki looking across to the tombs. The family are lovely and the food is superb. Ley ley is good as are many others. I still miss the Rock bar though and Physco - what a character he was/

Th Botanic is on the main Ortaca Road opposite the new Ortaca courts. The easiest way to get there is by car or Taxi.

Hi Di and Dave and welcome.
The rock bar and psycho he was great wasn't he, we miss it to and his bouncing about. DOn't miss the disgusting toilet though!!!!!
Mufit and his rock bar [Near the old one] was undergoing a big change when we were there in April so we are going to have a look in there in July, Mufit is a nice guy not so much of a character as psycho but speaks great english.

Hi all, last year we eat a few times in Yakamos.... my daughter had her 18th there and they were soooo attentive, they made her a lovely chocolate cake with sparklers... the works!
Our stop off on the way home was always Kervan Saray, the owners were so friendly, we also eat there too
for cheap meals we eat at a wee pidi place that would be where the market is....
Last year we were there late une early July and it was very hot so im looking forward to coming this month so we can get out and a bout and do more
20 days and counting till i feel the Dalyan sun and have a Turkish bath.......
