Ok, I have been to see it, spoken with the owners and the new manager who is an old friend of mine and got the low down.

Yes it is all very smart and luxurious with fabulous views over the river, from half of the rooms. There are 40 rooms at the moment including 2 suites, which are lovely and plans for 8 luxury penthouse suites in the future.
All rooms are ensuite, suites have jakuzi bath and shower, there is TV, aircon, safebox, telephone and minibar/fridge, as the interior is all no smoking there are automatic smoke detectors, so you can smoke on the balcony or outside, beware the roadside rooms do not have a balcony but are that much bigger. The best and most spacious rooms with a view are 111,211,115 and 215 the last 2 are the best.
The whole building has been beautifully finished and decor is to a very high standard, there is a bar, dinning room private function room and conference facilities. The kitchen is also to a very high cleanliness standard.
Yes I checked everywhere, even the storerooms and cupboards.
The owners are having a meeting tonight to decide the food arrangements, but the feeling is that they will be mainly half board, open buffet, help yourself as much as you like, with a small lunch menu and a small a la carte menu. I have pleaded with them to make these special and different from from anywhere else.

The prices for the rooms are 32euro per person/night b and b and 40 euro per person per night half board, pot luck on the rooms unless you specify. The suite prices have not been finalised yet.
At present they have not got any tour company plans and are aiming at the Turkish top end business class but anyone will be most welcome.
The restaurant will be open to the public at 10euro for the open buffet, starters, mains and puddings/fruit included.
Officialy it will open on the 1st of May but will be ready for Easter if there are any bookings. I would say they are 99% ready just little finishing touches.

They do seem to be having a problem with the website and have asked if any of you wish to book now do it through me, I can sort it out with the manager, he is my neighbour so not a problem.
In the next couple of days I will get some piccies for you all to look at.

Hi Steve, that is absolutely brilliant. Can't wait to check it out when we get there. Thats a great price for the buffet too. I hope they do really well as it is a stunning looking building (especially compared to what it looked like before!) Once again many thanks, looking forward to seeing the piccies.

I forgot to mention, wifi, aircon, roomsafe and fridge are all incuded in the prices. Not the contents of the fridge
obviously.
At first I thought the pricing for the rooms was a bit steep but if you look at any riverside hotel this is now the norm, in other resorts this quality and position the prices would be higher. Yes the buffet dinner at about 20 or 25 lira is very good if you are hungry and like to have loads of mezze, main courses and pudding, I expect to try it with some friends as soon as possible.
