Now then, the Queens has got a new look and Kadry is back behind the bar. The front all has a new look with folding floor to ceiling glass doors, the pool has been covered with decking, a bar has been built and the whole front floor area has been done out in red astroturf. There also seems to be a full program of events and things to do. I think they are also getting there act together with the food.

I heard the Queens was up for sale last year.Did they sell it or does Drew and David still own it?

No it is not for sale, David and Drew are still there. It was a missunderstanding that it was for sale.

A question Steve. Are the general public allowed to go in for a drink or is it just for people staying there. I always liked the look of the place and what they did to it. Wasn't it the Elif Hotel before? Can't wait to have a look see.

Thanks for that Andy, yet another place to add to our evergrowing list of things to do. I noticed that they had a fair few events planned during the week, hope they continue with the buffets, they sound wonderful. Could do with going for 4 weeks instead of 2, so much to do, so little time.

Yes the hotel is open to the public except ticket only functions. To those that don't know it is all wonderfully camp and entertaining. The prices for drink and food are also reasonable.

Always entertainment going on there.
Quiz nights, Dancing, Special Occasions they do it all.
Me and the wife have never really fancied going there prefer somewhere more traditional.
