A question for all you lucky people who live out there :Nop: or anyone else who has a property.

Who do you use for your insurance and roughly how much do you pay. Also more importantly have you had to make a claim and how was it handled by your insurers.

Well John I Have Just Taken Out Insurance With Intasure and it cost me ?295.00
but does not include dask as i will be sorting this out in June
have heard good reports about Intasure thats why i moved with them

A few years ago I changed all my insurances to a broker in Dalaman for several reasons. Mainly that I had no confidence in the one I was using and they could not speak any English. The first thing that Pasha Sigorta noticed was that if I had made a claim on the house insurance, it probably would not have paid out as the policy was all wrong. Anyway, he comes to the house checks everything, works out what should be in seperate categories, fills in all the forms and it costs no more than anyone else. In fact he checks out which is the best value and cover for you.
So I have the car, the house and our health insurance with him as do a lot of my friends now.

When any of us have needed to claim we have phoned him, he has come over sorted out the claim forms, when needed he has collected the money, he treats you as a proper client and looks after your interests.
I have had one ding in the car, he sorted it privately with the idiot that backed into me, he sorted my operation between the hospital and the insurance, no forms easy peasy 12,000 lira thank you and 2 of my friends have also claimed for car accidents, he arranged for everything and checked that the repairs were a good standard. What more can you want?

I don't know much about Intasure apart from a lot of Brits use them and there was something on the TLF forum, some bloke moaning that he had been given quotes for repairs and Intasure saying they would do it but use their own people for half the price. I think I made a comment about his price having commision for everyone and his dog included and would Intasure let him down when it is mainly internet based and people get to hear of things through the very forum he was complaining on. I did not read anything else after that.
