Hi
We're (family) on holiday in Dalyan in early July for 2 weeks. We've been once before but that was back in 2000. My sister visited a couple of years ago (she loved it) but the only black mark against the place was the constant hassle by people trying to get you into their restaurants. Is this still the case (it wasnt in 2000)?

Constant hassle??? These people in Dalyan are complete pussycats, they are just trying to do their job, if you are hassled complain to the Zabita and they will sort it out. If you want hassle go to Marmaris or Kusadasi especialy in the bazars, then you will truly experience hassle. The trick is to ignore them, difficult for polite people but as soon as you reply or make banter you will be hooked.

Ps. Welcome to the forum, please tell us your experiences good or bad, it all adds to the knowledge.

Welcome to the forum.

The hassle isn't that bad and I have always found a "not tonight" or " we have already eaten" suffices.

Welcome to the Forum. I agree with John, it will normally suffice to respond like that, but I personally find it a bit tedious when you're walking past a parade of restaurants for more than one day in a row!
