Arriving at the Tezcan hotel on Monday for a week - and very excited. Have heard great things about Dalyan. Would love any tips re: unmissable sights/beaches within reasonable distance. Also where's the best place to hire a car for a couple of days if we want to go exploring... Oh.. and are there a lot of mozzies - it being on a river? And finally... is it better to spend in lira or euros??

Welcome Kate you will love it not enough time to do it all in a week so must do ; beach, mudbaths.12 island,gorge, relax. Dont use the same bar and restaurant all the time loads of places te eat and drink so move around. Be careful on your shopping as they are really tight on your luggage allowance going back.
