Clinical Waste Collection Service

I medicate my animals using needles/syringes and had a hoard of used ones. Not knowing what to do with them I didn't want to throw them in the normal rubbish.
I went and spoke to the manager of a chemist here in Dalyan and he said, everyone should bring their clinical waste to any chemist as there is a collection service coming here every week.:Happy:

Hi, as far as medical waste goes - unwanted pills and potions - there is a notice on the board by the PTT asking (in Turkish and English) for any unwanted medication to be taken to the Dalyan clinic where they can use it - saves wastage that!!!! Good idea I think as long as the items aren't out of date of course!
