hello
I have found some cheap flights to dalaman when we have holidays from work. it would be march 15th. Anybody any idea what the weather would be like, generally speaking, in march, and which restaurants are open at that time. cant decide whether to throw caution to the wind and go for it... or stay at home and decorate !!!
grateful for any opinions, thanks

hi andy, it would be manchester, good flights though, 0900 going out and 1740 coming back... i have a feeling the decorating will win, but just see what was about really, was looking at gran canaria but i just prefer turkey

March is the time for getting everything ready, it is spring so restaurants and bars etc pop open at the drop of a hat. End of March and begining of April is quite a chearfull time for every one with an air of hopefull expectation for the coming season. As for the weather, who knows, could be sunny every day could have a few showers but whatever it will be way better than decorating.

Hi Sally, March would be a good time to explore Kaunos and some other sites as you won't get 'fried'. We do have some lovely days - T-shirts and shorts and some where you need wellies and brollies - but it is definately better than decorating in Hull. You can walk miles on a good day and see the countryside without loads of tourists milling about and lthere is always a villager to offer you tea! I think you would enjoy it.
We will be over to give March a try
21st yippppeeeeee

Is that a general, let's invite ourselves to John's and drink all his beer, or do we have to wait until asked? About time you had a coming home and retiring party, there are not too many of us around at the moment.
