Can anyone be of help. I was told by my house builder that I owe around 400 Lira council tax arrears to the Belideye. I bought my land and received my land Tapu at the beginning of April 2008, which is 2 years and 2 months. The purchase price on the Tapu is 15000 lira. My house was completed in June 2009 but has not yet been added to the land Tapu. Is the percentage of value still 0.3%? If so that makes the annual tax 45 lira. Will the house have anything to do with it or could some of it be arrears from before I bought the land? Also is it better to add the house to the land Tapu or leave it as it is, because I have been told that I will own whatever is on the land anyway.
Any knowledge that anyone has will be greatly appreciated.
