You must permanently have a camera poised ready to take these shots, another beautifully captured image. You must have a terrific zoom and very quiet feet! I can see every hair on its body and every vein in its wings, simply stunning.

You are quite right my camera is always ready as you never know if or when that photo opportunity will arrive again.

I use a Nikon DSLR normally with a 70-300mm lens on but this was taken with the stock 18-55mm lens on. The bees are harmless enough away from their hive so I was able to get fairly close.
