Internet and telephone charges levied by Turk Telekom (Turk Telekomunikasyon AS) have gone up by 5%.
The company announced the increase to the Istanbul stock market , 19 August 2008, and said they would take effect immediately.
This is the second time that the national phone company have increased prices this year.
