Settling in britain

part three

not sure what happened here, but this was supposed to be my first blog post, without which, the second one makes me look like a ranting racist, anyhow her goes;

Settling in britain
ok,where do i start?
well, im 52, and have been thinking of settling down in britain for many years.
oh, i know it has its problems, and is fraught with difficulties, the language, the weather, the food etc,
but i think, even taking all those things into consideration, it may be worthwhile making the decision to spend the rest of my life here.
of course, i would prefer the sunnier climes of the med region, but in the end, i think living in a country with lousy weather, ignorant and violent inhabitants, a society where every little risk is magnified by the press into a catastrophe in waiting, where the government will spend billions on lies about terrorism and next to nothing on education, where everyone is presumed guilty until they can prove themselves innocent, where the rights of the native population have been subsumed under the weight of politically correct rhetoric, and where illegal immigrants are reportedly having free rein with the benefit system, asylum seekers are stealing all our jobs and council houses, and psychotic rapists are waiting in every public toilet for us, would be just fine.
it makes you proud to be british, dont it?
oh, and to top it off, you cant get Efes dark for love nor money here!
sod it, i think i will move to turkey as well.

    I thought you didn't like blogs. Seems like the perfect outlet for your brand of banter, by the way did you ever try the Efes Dark Brown? It is a coffee flavoured version.
