    Default Things happening now

You will all remember the fuss about the post office being demolished and it all being laid to grass!!!
Well, it has been all ripped up along with all the surfaces outside the restaurants and around the tea garden. It is all being relaid with block, brick and stone patterns, the awnings outside the restaurants have all gone and rumour is they will be replaced with a unified awning or cover of some sort. I suppose the Idea is to smarten the area up a bit. I would have paved a few more roads first.

It is now starting to feel cold, only 15c today,30 Nov. As it is Sunday we have Quiz lunch at the Queens or Quiz night at the Starfish with fish pie and pear and almond tart for pudding. The menu changes every week.

This is absolutely great having someone who is living there full time, keeping us all up to date with the happenings in Dalyan, oh how I wish I was there. Any news yet on the new Tezcan hotel, when it will open, how much, etc, the website is still not up and running. Keep up the good work!

The only things I have heard about the Tezcan Hotel are that it will be definately open next season and prices still need to be finalised, looking at its position etc and basing an estimate on turkish prices, I would think the price per room will have to be around 100 lira per night. Having said this it will probably publish room rates at 100$ anight, not that many people would pay that. At those sort of prices I would go to the Dalyan Resort until we know what sort of standard it is going to be.
