Default Places to stay in January

    Hi
I am going to Dalyan for a week in January. Does anybody know of any hotels or accomodation open in January other than the Metin which is the only one I know of.
I will be there alone doing some work on my house which is under construction so it dosen't have to be 5 star.

Hi Stan, yes there is more than the Metin, Dalyan Queens, good for a laugh and always people around, the Ozalp junior is always open basic but central more likely to have 1 night business travellers staying (Turkish reps) Iam sure there are others open but you may be the only guest.
I take it you are coming out to have a look at your build? Who is building for you?

    Hi Steve

Yes I am coming out to look at my build and to run some cable in for a multi room audio system. Kubilay Keceki is my builder of Turkevi Ltd. (Turkish house).
I have nothing but respect for him and his company.
I have also got a long list of other things to do.
Do you know of any good furniture shops?

Yes Tekin (turkevi) are pretty good, the family are neighbours of mine.
I was asking out of interest as there is not much building going on this winter and certainly not any speculative buiding as there has in the past.

Furniture, we have found a place in Fethiye that builds really good, solid wood furniture, that comes in a variety of styles and finishes and only costs about 20% more than common or garden MDF stuff. It is called Masif Mobiliye.

To be fair I have also found the two in Dalyan to be pretty good as well.
Let me know when you are here and I can show you some of the Masif stuff.

    Hi Steve

Thanks for the info. I will take you up on that if you don't mind. If you let me have your turkish phone number I'll give you a ring when I am out there. Alternatively you can text me on skype under stanslaptop2.
Not sure if you use skype though.
Can't wait to get out there.
