If you own or are planning to own a vehicle registered in Turkey then this useful calculator will help you to find out how much that dreaded tax will be.

To use the calculator follow our instructions below.



Fill in the fields as follows:

Ara? Tipi Se?iniz ? click on the drop down box and choose your vehicle type. The Turkish words are easy to understand so no translation needed here!

If you have a van derived car you?ll need to choose ?Panel Van ve Motorlu Karavanlar? from the list.
Aracın Yaşı ? The age of the vehicle ? Type in here the age of the vehicle 1-3 years / 4-6 years etc
Motor Silindir Hacmi ? The size of the engine ? Click the engine capacity from the drop down list.
Once all the above have been filled in click on the Hesapla button. The page below will then show the tax due for that year as follows.
Yillik Tutar ?The annual sum due
İlk Altı Aylık Tutar and İkinci Altı Aylık Tutar ? The 1st and 2nd instalments if paying in two payments.

If you've followed our intructions you should have something that looks a bit like the screen below.

Note there are no discounts for paying the annual sum in one go strangely.

Thank you, This is very usefull for any one thinking of buying a new or used vehicle. Other things to bear in mind are that van based cars have a speed restriction of 88kph and they have to be visa'd every year even from new.
