    Default Dalyan Novice

Hi just joined the forum. We are hoping to visit for the first time in September-we have been visiting Turkey for the last 5-6 years and fell in love with Kalkan-however it is becoming a bit too commercialised which is sad.As we love Turkey & the lovely friendly locals we thought we would look for somewhere else & thought Dalyan looked fabulous.

Any tips or info gratefully received-we were looking at a small pension-Dalyan Garden Pension as a possible base and would welcome any comments.Just booked our flights for 20th September for 14 nights-a girls gotta have something to look forward to on these dark cold nights! Can't wait !:Happy:

Welcome Suki, I think you have chosen well. We also go in September, its a lovely time of year to visit, mind you I would visit every month if I could. I'm sure someone on the forum will be able to tell you about Dalyan Pension, personally I have seen it but don't know anything about it. Enjoy your holiday, I'm sure you will.

Thank you to everyone who replied to my post-flights booked so now looking for accommodation.Unfortunately no info from anyone re Dalyan Garden Pension so looking for some recommendations-either apartment or small hotel-we prefer to eat out at night & try all the local restaurants. Not sure how easy it is to walk around Dalyan-Kalkan very hilly so going home at night after a few Efes & wines could be a trial! Does anyone know how far the Dalyan Garden Pension is from centre & is it within feasible walking distance?

    Any tips would be great.

    Kind Regards
    Suki:Yep:
