Belediye news and rumours

One of the first rumours to be floated since the election, is that the old Belediye finances have discrepancies of between 2 and 3 trillion Lira!!!!! also that the rent for the beach had not been paid for 2 years!! and the auditors from Ankara are investigating!!
Most of Dalamans old Belediye plus the owners of Curbanoglu and Muslular, a developer and supplier of concrete etc, have been arrested and we are awaiting the outcome.
Good news about Dalyan is that the new belediye has paid the beach rent from their own pockets and to boost immediate cash flow are going to offer stickers for vehicles, at a once a year fee, so that locals don't have to pay to park at the beach. 50 Lira per car is the price bandied about for this sticker.
I have long said that this should happen and personally I will go more often and spend more money at the cafe.

Actualy, I though the business trips to Switzerland to look at cable cars was a bit suspicious. Didn't know about the Caribbean.
