Bulent Usta, the Doner man, has not only taken over Mems old restaurant but has kept the old spot next to Carretta Pizza. The old site has doner with gas fire and the new spot with wood fire, he has also taken on a very nice front man from Mugla, married to a Weish girl, but not realy his fault, they are trying to do basic stuff that will appeal to the Brits on holiday with children, good value and stuff that everyone will understand. I wish them the best of luck.

sounds good, my middle son also has a welsh floozy, so i know the problems that may arise with a cross culture relationship, but as long as one of them realises that they are from vibrant go ahead culture with boundless optimism and the other is welsh, things should be ok. daughter in law is almost house trained now, after only three years!

By June officially all building work has to stop, so there is always some incomplete building or other. The restaurants in the square seem to be using umbrellas at the moment but I don't know if this is the long term plan or not. Anyway at night it doesn't matter much.
