Yummy!!! Depends though on which restaurants are serving it. I remember when lamb shanks used to be a cheapy cut of lamb, bet its not anymore though. I love the lamb chops you get in Dalyan, and it is still my quest to find the best in Dalyan.
Ali Baba's lamb is good I seem to remember
Go to Firat pide/pizza place which is in the square near to Ali baba and Nokta supermarket - she does a very nice leg of lamb cooked in the wood fired oven - it is not on the menu - ask the day before. There is another restaurant that takes their lamb to be finished off in the Firat oven but it is better cooked in the oven from scratch
Last lamb shank I had was in the Lake District. The bomb squad had to put a cordon around me by the time I had finished. Cooked slowly it is a wonderful meal.
Note to self - buy some larger belts.

Vince
Oh yes, unless you are the sporty type this is no place to try and lose any weight. Too many nice things to try.
