    Default Council tax question

Can anyone tell me how the council tax is worked out or is it a set amount per year? If so how much? Is it the same for all areas, i.e. Gulpinar?
    Cheers flash

    Default Re: Council tax question

Anywhere in the Imar plan of Dalyan is the same, the rate is supposed to be.03% of the value on the Tapu which is why a Turk will beg, plead and even fight to get the value as low as possible. There is a different rate for land only but I don't know what it is and if you have 2 names on the Tapu it is supposed to be double, I do not actually know anyone with a double named Tapu so I don't know how true that is.
So you could have 2 properties exactly the same but one was registered say 5 years before the other one, they will pay different amounts of tax because the value will be vastly different.

So the moral of the story is when they want to put a lower value on the Tapu than you are paying for the property, let them it will save you lots of money.
