hi i am a ex london black taxi driver i live in england

i spend about 2 months a year in dalyan on holidays i have been doing this for the past 3 years

so now im thinking of settling down in dalyan

but i have heard that the foreign people have a hard time getting the tapu so thats a worry:Confused:

dont think you will have much problems in Dalyan with Tapu its normally villages that have the problems

Appartments seem to be the ones that cause problems as its normally shared Tapu etc

but Dalyan Steve will be on hand to help answer any questions

Hi, welcome to the forum. Yes there have been some problems, as Andy said in the villages but that was realy where one minute you were allowed to buy and then the next you were not and some people got caught in the middle. There are also plenty of other stories of people being cheated by unscrupulous people.
However you can buy property in Turkey, in your own name, as long as it is in an Imar plan of a Belediye. Which most of Dalyan is. There are many things to look out for which would take up far too much space here. Send me a pm and I will guide you.
