Ohhh, it's that time of year again - when we who live here are subjected, along with the Turks, to a never ending display of wobbly naked flesh and I wonder - HOW FAR IS THE SEA?????? As it isn't close can we ask that people have the decency to cover the bits that they might display on a beach until they get there - and then recover when they are on their way back to town? Dalyan is not a beach resort so we don't expect or want to see or your white wobbly bits around the shops and restaurants thank you.
Okay, now I have made myself very unpopular I expect - but I have only put in writing what most of the people who live here say every year. I don't doubt that some holiday makers agree anyway as it is not nice shopping in Migros behind naked chests with arm pit hair hanging and beer guts drooping - Yeuuughhh. As for the women - cover up decently please no matter what age you are, keep it for the beach.
So I will wait for the flack that is probably coming my way now............bye

I quite agree. Some years ago when we had to go Marmaris for a Migros shop they used to turn away people who were improperly dressed and there is a campaign in Alanya about this subject as well.

Couldn't agree more. Don't know what a lot of them are thinking. As my hubby says, "they mustn't have mirrors in their house", either that or they are extremely comfortable in their skin!

Could not agree more, there are standards you know. Tits out in shops and restaurants is not on, especially the men.
