Congratulations to our Steering Committee. In only two weeks they have done wonders. I for one would still be running around in circles!!!!
The presentation was professional, informative and positive. The groundwork and structure they have created will make it so much easier when a committee is elected in the near future. Information packs were available to us to take away and peruse at our leisure and contain extremely useful information.

To have the Baskan speak to us and to have heads of the Turkish working groups there, to me, was an honour. We are part of this community and are recognised.

This is a new venture for us all and mistakes will be made i'm sure, but lets all be positive and help where we can

Yes we were there and volunteered for duty, did you? It is all a bit clearer now that we know it is to do with the UN sponsored agenda 21. It was bandied about some 4 or 5 years ago but we were told at the time it was for Turkish women only. Apparantly it died a death due to lack of response at that time, this time round at least they have recognised the need to involve all residents of Dalyan.

Lets hope we can all make Dalyan a better place to live.
