    Default what to do?

ok, last time there we did nothing except go to the beach once, and lounge around a lot.
next time i want to do the midnight lake trip and she wants to do a crab fishing trip.
anyone got any info on either?
you know, costs, who does the best/cheapest/safest/most boozy one, where they go from, etc etc.
    many thanks
see that little girl in the red coat?
    her name is Leah.
    that's my princess, that is.
one day soon, i'm going to bring her to Dalyan.

Never have done the midnight lake trip. By the time I've had pre-dinner drinks, drinks with dinner and after dinner drinks, don't think I've ever seen midnight! We did do a couple of trips last year with Dale who is located opposite the post office, great guy, very knowledgeable and good company. Did the 12 Islands and the lake trip to mud baths and springs, both days cost £12 each for a full day with a good lunch thrown in too. Drinks are aplenty but cost extra. Two very good days out. This year I want to try Saklikent Gorge and Akyaka if the dolmus are running to Akyaka this year.

ha ha, what are you trying to say! Yes we will be there in September and can be found or could be found until it was taken over, at Cafe Blue Bar, so this year we will be at Askin Bar in the old anatolia restaurant building, Askin being the best barman in town in my opinion. Usually around 7ish for a few drinks before deciding which restaurant to frequent. I gather there is a new fun bar, which we will NOT be frequenting. Although I like a pre-dinner drink I prefer drinking it in a nice quiet ambient place (is ambient a word?) and watching the world stroll by. Be there 15th September until the 29th.

How they ever let this Fun Bar ever open is beyond me - it is big enough to cater for at least one coach party, if not 2, and directly opposite the old blue cafe, so probably a good move for Ashkan to take over the old Anatolia. The Fun Bar is the last place I would ever drink in. Makes you wonder if they are trying to turn Dalyan into another Marmaris

Maybe they're thinking of shipping in from Sarigerme again, they used to do that, bus a load of people in for a Friday evening. Me being crochety, but I hope people vote with their feet and go elsewhere. Some folks have just returned from Dalyan and say the guy on the front of house is a rather agressive type, with a hard sell attitude. I for one will be taking the the walk across the square instead of going up the main street, that way I can bypass him.

The Fun Pub - anything but as far as we are concerned - how did they get that awful building through any planning permission. We also found the front of house guy rather agressive and demanding why we were not going in, on telling him that if we wanted Marmaris type of entertainment we would have gone there! His answer was that there were a lot of people in Dalyan who like his bar - evidence was not visable whenever we went past! Only time will tell as to whether they succeed or not.
