The lawyer acting for the village has succeeded in getting the proposed, crazy Imar Plan overturned at the appeals court in Ankara. There is still a few bits of bureaucracy that have to be dealt with locally which will, once again, be funded by the same benefactors.
Once the process is completed the muhtar will call a general village meeting, which will be open to everyone, where the village can decide democratically how it will develop in the future. It is important to villagers that your voice is heard along with theirs and that we all contribute to the process.
