Hi everybody. I was over there last week and found there was a problem with the artesian water. After some investigation and speaking to my neighbours it appears that a lot are suffering from low ground water pressure in Arik Basi. My original pipe went down 6m, so I decided to have a deeper one drilled in the same area. After reaching 18m and still no water I decided to abandon that one and try again at the opposite end of my land approx. 50m from the original one. Anyway at 4 and a half meters we hit a gusher, thank god, didn't like the idea of filling my pool from the town mains. Has anybody else noticed this, and I can't get my head round how the water table can fluctuate in depth over such a short distance???
I am coming back out on the 26th June for a few days and hope my water is still there.
